TechnoMed Solutions, a Brookfield Asset Management company, provides specialized blood bank software, implementation and technical services to healthcare customers across North America. Almost 100 hospitals and regional healthcare organizations rely on TechnoMed Solutions' complete hemovigilance solutions to improve patient safety, reduce waste and increase the efficiency of their blood transfusion services.
Our Distribution Partner
TechnoMed Solutions distributes products for MAK-SYSTEM International Group, a leader in medical information technology. Their strength and specialty is designing innovative software solutions with superior functionality to the blood banking and blood transfusion sectors. With more than 1000 installations in more than 40 countries, which include 21 national implementations, their objective is to provide blood banks and hospital transfusion services with the most comprehensive software functionality and technology solutions to safeguard and optimize the entire blood management process.

History
TechnoMed Solutions is comprised of a dedicated team of blood bank professionals that were formerly part of the MediSolution organization.
- MediSolution was originally founded in 1974 under the name of IST and officially became MediSolution in 1997.
- In 1997, MediSolution began distributing Transfusion Software - Trace Line for Mak System International Group and it was a this time that the, the “Blood Bank Team” was founded with a mandate to deliver a full set of services, including support 365 days a year 24 hours a day, implementation, training and consultation services.
